Young Angler Investment

FishSKB are committed to supporting young anglers across the UK to ensure that they can achieve their potential in fly fishing. By investing in today’s young anglers we are investing in the future of our sport.

Here are some of those we are supporting:

Medi Treharne

Medi is from Wales. She started fly fishing at the age of 12 and has already made it in to the Welsh Youth Fly Fishing team. Medi learnt to fly fish at her local water, Garnffrwd Trout Fishery with her dad and enjoys the peace and quiet being out in the fresh air brings. SKB look forward to working with Medi to ensure she continues in her fly fishing journey.

Blaine O’Donnell

Blaine is an under 18s international angler for Scotland and won the coveted Brown Bowl in the International in August 2015. Blaine enjoys a range of fishing techniques but fly fishing is his preferred style. We look forward to working with Blaine and what promises to be a long and productive competitive career.

Robert Fyfel

Robert is a member of the Scottish Loch Style Youth Team that has won Gold for the last two years. Robert also caught Scotland’s largest fish at the Lake of Menteith in the competition and is in the Scottish team to compete in Ireland in 2016.
